I started my painting company, DJ's Painting, in 1986 when I was only 16. I have learned many valuable lessons along the way, but the most valuable lesson that I learned from owning a painting company for 30+ years has to do with customer respect. Without customers, my painting company would have been out of business before it even began! Some customers do not know the right questions to ask, so that is where my knowledge and experience comes in handy. My job as the painting expert is to provide my clients with accurate and up to date facts and make sure that they have a complete understanding of the painting process. I can only recommend the specifications that I see needing to be done. So, if the customer chooses to cut corners or partially complete the project, I can sleep at night knowing that I brought everything to their attention.
